CRICKET
JEWISH CLUBS' MATCH
The annual cricket match between the • Christchureh Jewish Club and Wellington Jewish Club was played at Kelburn Park on Labour Day. A special feature was the cup presented by Mr. E. Boulton, Christchurch, for competition amongst the Jewish Clubs of New Zealand.
Wellington won the toss and elected to go on the field. Christchurch first innings realised 131, and Wellington retaliated by! scoring 62. Ohristehurch second innings could only tally (50, leaving Wellington 129 runs to get in an hour's play, but they could only score 41 runs for two wickets, when stumps were drawn, leaving Ohristehurch the first winners of the Boulton Cup. Tea was served (luring the afternoon, and after the match the cup was presentod to Christchurch. 'The following are the scores:— Christchurch. — First Innings: J. Jacobs, b M. Pitt, 69; P.
