Young up, .galloped a mile and three-quarters in 3min 20see, ■ the last mile and a half taking 2min 49|sec. Standby, with A. Wilson up, galloped a mile and a half in 2min 44sec. Windbag (Baldwin) did sixfurlongs easily in lmin 19sec. Accarak galloped eleven furlongs in 2miu 32sec, nud Manfred did nine furlongs on the tan in lmin 58see. On the grass, Friarsdale boat Royal Roue over a mile and a half, done in 2min 41j|sec. Virgin Gold and Amounis galloped nine furlongs in lmin 59sec, and Rampion did four furlongs in 49|sec. Belgamba was going better than Gungool and Tyrant at tho end of eleven furlongs, done In 2min 27sec.

At Caulfiekl, Spearfelt' (Novitt) galloped a mile on the grass in lmin 46sec. Lemma (K..,Oodby) did a mile and a half on the sand in 2min 45sec. King of the Mirth did a mile and a quarter on the grass in,2min. 12sec. Tookarby covered nine furlongs easily in 2min. 4seo. King's Pardon galloped a mile and a half in 2min 40sec. Fujisan (F. Dempsey) beat Taj Mahal over a mile, taking lmin 43i,sec. Mirthmaker beat Fardon Bridge over a'mile and a quarter, done in 2min 13sec. Waianlon galloped a mile in lmin 43|sec.
