Morton Memorial Maiden Race, of 125 soys; six furlongs.—Gold Collector, 8.8 1; Elys'ianor, 7.11, 2; Sovena, 8.8, 3. Scratched: Puawhato, Argue, Hineora, Anola Boy, Anchor, Gurnion, Tanewai, Banjuke. Won by a head. Time, lmin 17sec.

Brewer Handicap, of 120 soys; six furlongs.—Pouma, 7.11, 1; Avola, 8.2, 2; Gaillard, 8.10, 3. Also started: Lady Bentinck, The Lamb, Some Red. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 17 l-ssec. Hack Hurdles, of 160 soys; ono and a half miles.—Strategy, 9.9, 1; Taitaiata 9.7, 2; All Wind, 10.3, 3. Also started: Goldpiece, White Ranger, Oneroa, Lady Dolwill, Ratapiko. Won by five lengths.
