HAMILTON CHEW DEFEATED IN SEMI-MNAL.

MELBOURNE, 24th October. The Henley four-oared mile race was held in perfect weather. There was a record attendance. In the first heat Hamilton (New Zealand) beat Melbourne by a length and a half, Banks (Victoria) being third. Hamilton started well and soon had ;i few feet lead.
