FAST FLYING
DUNEDIN TO CHRISTCHURCH IN
TWO HOURS.

CHRISTCHURCH, 25th Oct.
With a gqod strong southerly wind behind him, Captain L. M._ Isitt flew from Dunedin to Christchurch on Saturday in an hour and three-quarters in a HD9 machine. Captain isitt had bren down to Dunedin to make arrangements for (lying at the opening of the KNhibition. Yesterday morning lie was in the air for a couple of hours, as he spent fifteen minutes taking photos before leaving Dunedin. At. 10.20 a.m. he took a photograph of the Octagon, and at. 12.3 he had reached the aerodrome at. Soekburn. Conditions were a. bit cloudy, but ho set a course at a. higher altitude, and at a speed of 75 to 30 .miles per hour, with a strong following wind, he made good time.
