DOMINION ALL GOLD ART UNION
The drawing of the Dominion All Gold art union took place at the Municipal Theatre, Invercargill, on tho 20th instant, in the presence of the Mayor of Invercargill (Mr." Andrew Bain), Mr. O. Cruickshank, S.M., and Police Inspector Bird. The art union was inaugurated six months ago to secure funds for the provision of | laying areas for Rugby Union football aiid other amateur sports in Southland. Jt has proved very successful; in the wordj of Mr. ¥. Meredith, president of ihe Southland Rugby Union, the result, financially was better than either of the previous art unions. The list of winning numbers is advertised in "The Post" to-day. •
