FRENCH CLUB
The fortnightly reunion of the Cercle Frane.iis was held on Thiirsday niylit at, the Pioneer Club Hall. Mi-. ' John Huteheson, patron, attended. The programme was in charge of Mrs. C. H. Seville and Misses K. M. Hind mid C. i\[ead. Supper was most kindly supplied by Miss Loekie and Mrs. Seville The major part of the time was filled by a lively comedy entitled "Lo Coil Mouvoinent." It may be described as a "comedie fcininiste." The pa-rls were taken by Misses Hind, .Yomuz, .North, a-nd Suthcrhiud. Mr,;. Seville contributed a eausene, "Deux dotes importances dans l;r, liistoiro dc not re ecrcle," and a readin;;. "Cro<|uis dc Douane." She had also nrran"e'l I'm.songs by Misses Exton and Olson (i:i Italian) and the "Quartette in E Minor" (Arne) by Mrs. Meier. Miss Wotters, Messrs. Booth and Meier (instrumentalists). The said arrangements were much appreciated by the .•nidietice, and the evening was nn iuterestinr; one. Mine. Bernini I conducted Hie conversation circle and Miss Una Castle leceived.
