MELBOURNE, 23rd October. The steamer Werriboa is fled up at Geelong.- The owners allege that job control has been attempted by 'the seamen, and have decided to pay off the ( crow. The trouble arose through the engineer discharging a fireman. The firemen considered this, unwarranted, and the Seamen's Union refused to fill the vacancy.
