(Received 24th October, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The steamer Port Adelaido has sailed with a full crew.
MELBOURNE TO SYDNEY
STRIKERS RETURN TO SHIP,
SYDNEY, 23rd October. The chief item of strike interest to-day was the arrival by train* of fifteen"'or sixteen members "of the crew of the steamer Nestor, who struck in Melbourne. They were met at Sydney by a, squad of special police and escorted aboard the Nestor. Wharf labourers are now engaged iv discharging the Nestor's cargo. It is now' announced' that the Diogenes, -winch was yesterday reported as not calling at Melbourne, will call there. . '" '
