LABOUR RESOLUTIONS
OWNERS "DESIROUS OF STRIFE-
CONSEQUENCES NOW AT THEIR DOOR.

SYDNEY, This Day. The Commonwealth Labour Council passed a resolution viewing with regret the hostile attitude o! tha owners, stating thiit "ft is evident that they are" desirous: of continuing the industrial turmoil rather than seeking to bring about industrial peace. : The prolongation of the dispute and the future consequences of it must now test at the door of the shipowners." .
The council "passed a "resolution in connection with the Deportation Act, calling upon' Australian industrialists to carry out the decision contained in the manifesto issued on Tuesday. Having passed these resolutions, the conference broke up, and the delegates are returning to various States, their .mission having proved fruitless. . - :
