"MERRIE ENGLAND."
On Saturday evening Edward German's popular light opera, • "Merrie England" will be repeated at the Y.W.r C.A. Concert Hall, Boulcott street. The; performance will again be given by the Terrace Congregational Choir, whose rendering of this opera gave such satisfaction a few" weeks ago. In this connection the ''Evening Post's" musical critic writes as follows :■—"The work of the choir showed the careful trainingand thorough understanding of a cqnduotor who knows the requirements 'of his art. The soloists .distinzuWiod themselves in the parts that fell to them."
