, ; BRISBANE, This Day. Thelatest advices from Mount Morgan state that the fire is underground. Twq hundred experienced miners worked assiduously and. raised steam for pumping, and also for working' the winding gear to enable men- to go down to the seat of .the outbreak. ■ K,\ Tlie extent -of ftie fire is . not' yet known. It is thought that the fire was due to spontaneous combustion. ;."-
The company is finding difficulty in getting v to. fight, it. This is most pronounced in regard to the, engine-drivers, firemen, .and electricians. The Lockout Council desires every man to report and take his share in the work.!
