KOHN SHIELD
Tha annual contest for tho Kb'hu Shield between the Tramway teams of Auckland and Wellington will take place ■on Wednesday next at Athletic Park at 3 p.m. As Christchurch aro unable to ,send a team this year, only one gam« will take place, and a good contest should be witnessed. The Wellington side includes Borne first-class playersWalters, Hickcy, Hickling, Juno, Holtz, Whiterod, Peacock, Malm, Deere, Bowe, and M'Kee. The Auckland team contains some players who are in the'first flight in the northern city. Wellington are the present holders Of the shield.
