BRITAIN AND MEXICO
EELATIONS RESUMED,

It is officially stated that tho Government has decided to resume full official diplomatic relations with Mexico, the outstanding differences having been satisfactorily settled. The present Consul-General, Mr. Norman King, will bo Charge d* Affaires pending the appointment of a Minister.
The Mexican Government attemptt'd, .in Juno, 1924, to expel the British Minister, Mr. Herbert Cummins, and the British Government thereupon summoned Mr. Cummins home and broke off relations. The.trouble arose over Mexico's attempts to dispossess Mrs. Evans of her farm. After Mr. Cummins's withdrawal Mrs. Evans was murdered.
