STRIKES IN CHINA
PEKIN STUDENTS SATISFIED
MOVEMENT SPREADING- IN SHANGHAI.

Students from the Pekin Government Colleges have decided that when the term begins in September they will return to their studies and not continue to strike. The strike movement in Shanghai, on the other hand, is gradually spreading among Chinese concerns. Following on the settlement of a strike in. one of tho largest Chinese printing establishments, tho employees of another prominent printing concern' walked, out. Unrest prevails among the employees of two of the largest department stores- and amongst the printers of Chinese news.papers.
