WEEK-END CHANGES
(Received 31st August, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. It is reported that during the week-end further additions were made to the crews of the vessels lying in the harbour. The British steamer Hartfield left Newcastle for Adelaide. At Cairns, the Port Curtis waß added to the idle list, as the crew refuged to take, her to sea.The strikers have failed to interest the members of the crews of vessels employing black labour and white hands as well. The position at Melbourne is unchanged.
