AUCKLAND POTATO CHOPS.
Messrs. H. H. Pattle, Ltd., Fukekohe, report tlmt ■ there is a good itrea under .cultivation ■this year, the early planting being rather heavier than usual. Heavy rains early in tho sea■son, however, rotted a proportion of the crop, and tills had to be replanted, thus reducing ti> a certain extent tho early croys. ■ Since then tile weather has been fair, and has iuduced good and regular growth. Growers this year planted a better class of seed than lanfc year which should tend to give a crop of stronger constitution. A certain "amount of blight, has already'made, its appearance, although weather conditions have not been at all humid:- . ■ - :
