STRAND THEATRE.
"The White Shadow," which commenced at the Strand Theatre yesterday, has included in it a fine cast, Betty Compson and C.live Brook playing the leads. Miss Compson enacts a dual role, ihat of twin sisters of widely different ■ natures, one ■ a quiet, refined girl, and the other a wild, mischievous maid, whose search for excitement and disregard for parental advice leads her into innumerable complications. Mr. Clive Brook further enhances the reputation he has already made in the work he does in support. The sixth episode of ,"In the Days of Daniel Boons" was also shown, and proved to be most exciting. This.-.thrill-ing Universal serial of the early struggles of America is proving very popular with Strand Theatre audiences. The supporting pictures include a comedy,, scenic, | cartoon, and topical bundget.
