SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
Atmospheric pressure has increased everywhere, with the departure'eastward" of'the low cutre. Fresh southerly winds and cold, showery weather has prevailed, heavy showers falling in the East Coast districts and abput Cook Strait. Conditions, however, show an Improvement this morning in most parts of the Dominion.
