THE ORSOVA'S PASSENGERS

(Received 28th August, 10 a.m.) FREMANTLE, This Day. Six hundred and fifty passengers are detained aboard the Orsova. It is stated that if .the passengers are transferred to tho inter-State steamer Karoola, she will bo declared black. Some of the passengers have left by train for the Eastern States, and others are clamouring for accommodation in the trains. The Orsova's mails will bo brought round the coast by the Hobson's Bay, which has arrived from London, and is not affected by the strike.
