MORE DESTRUCTIVE FLOODS.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—OOPSKIQHT.) (REUTERS lELEORAM.) (Received 28th August, 9 a.m.) TOKIO, 27th August. Heavy rains resulted in forty thousand houses in Tokio and one thousand in Yokohama being partly submerged, and there were reveral casualties, including two deaths.* Landslides have caused very heavy damage. , A passenger train was derailed near Hacnioji, causing many casualties. Large areas in the Saitama prefecture are flooded, but detailed reports from tho outlying districts are not available, as the communications have been damaged. The floods have subsided.
