DEATHS IN SOUTH ISLAND
(BT TELEGRAPH.—I'RESS ASSOCIATION.) NELSON, 25th August. The young man, Dnrcy Mickell. who was injured in an explosion in Riwnlta, Valley last week, has succumbed to liia injuries. CHRTSTCHURCH, 25th August. William James Edgar, aged 45 years, dairyman, living at Speneerville, died in a private hospital last night while under an anaesthetic for an operation. The operation was almost complete at the time of collapse. A post mortem examination Will be made, and an inquest held.
