The national championship doubles were continued to-day at the Chestnut Hills courts with the following result*: W. M. Johnston and C. J. Griffin (U.S.A.) beat A. Thrayer and S. W. Pearson (U.S.A.), 6-1, 6-1, 1-6, 6-1. E. Williams and G. M. Lott (U.S.A.) won by default from N. W; Nilee and A. J. Cawse (U.S.A.). M. Alonzo and E. Flaquer (Spain) beat W. D. Brown (U.S.A.) and B. I. 0. Norton (South Africa), 7-9, 6-1, 6-1, 7-5. Vincent Richards and R. N. WilKatea (U.S.A.) beat Gerald Stratford and Cranston Holman (U.S.A.), 6-0, .7-5, 6-4. G. L. Patterson and J. B. Hawkes (Australia) beat S. H. Vosheli a;-.d A.' Chapin (U.B.AJ, 6-4, 6-3, 6-1. H. O. and R. Kinsey (U.S.A.) beat G. P. Gardner and S. Guild (U.S.A.), 6-2, 6-2, 6-4. W. T. Tilden and A. L. Wiener (U.S.A.) beat Max Decugis and Jacques Brugnon (France), 6-1, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2. L. N. White and L. Thalhftimer (U.S.A.) beat Rene Lacbste and Jean Bovotra (France), 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4,
