SEEN' BY TAINUI'S PASSENGERS.

The opportunity of seeing a fleet of fighting ships at sea does not occur every day. Passengers who arrived at Wellington . yesterday afternoon by the Shaw, Savill liner Tainui, from Home, however, had the good fortune to pass right down the lines of the Wellington detachment of the American fleet. ' The Tainui was off the Heads shortly after 10 a.m. The weather was thick, but nevertheless a good view of the warships as they proceeded gracefully out to sea was obtained from the decks of the liner. According to paseencera by the Tainui, the four seaplanes which he\y above the ships as they left Wellington, descended in Palliaer Bay, and were then hoisted aboard their respective vessels.
