PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

An Eastern love story, "The Arab," is screening at the Paramount Theatre tonight. The story tells of the arrival of a missionary and his daughter, who take up their statioa in the shadow of the mosque, and have already gathered a number of Moslem children under tho influence of the Cross, when there comes to the towu the son of a sheik, who is "the best-dragoman in the world." Alice Tjjrrr, as tho missionary's daughter, and ltamon Navarro, as the'dragoman, make a pretty pair, of lovers, and there is enough excitement in the picture to please the most exacting. The comic aide is well catered for, and there are also educational films, and the Paramount Orchestra. "THE GREAT WHITE WAY." "The Great White Way," the Cosmopolitan Corporation's big motion pioture, which graphically brings modern NewYork and Broadway to the screen, ■ will be screened at the Par«imu"int Theatre next Friday. Among the celebrities appearing are Jack Ketirnß, Tex Rickard, Irvin S. Cobb, Kid Broad, Pete Hartley, Johnny Gallagher, "Bugs" Baer, H. C. Witwor, Tammany Young, Damon Runyon, Billy Do Beck, Johnny Dundee, Benny Leonard, Billy Gibson, Young Stribling, Earle Sande. Joe Humphreys, the leading sports writers of all the metropolitan dailies, and many notables of the stage and screen. Many of these celebrities play actual parts in the film itself, which iB woven around the turf, the prize ring, the theatre, and Broadway. One of the big features is a realistic prize fight, in which Pete Hartley, well known professional ■ lightweight, battles Oscar Shaw, leading man of _ the picture. Another thrilling feature is a big race track scene, filmed at Belmont Park, on Futurity Day. Earl Sande is one of the cast in this particular _ sequence. In addition to these highlights, the new picture brings to the screen for the first time the entire chorus of the famous Ziegfeld Follies. The regular professional cast includes Anita Stewlart, • Oscar Shaw, T. Roy Barnes, Tom Lewis, Dore Davidson, Olin Howland, Hal Forde, Stanley Forde, Harry Watson, Billy Gould, and Frank Wondeiioy.
