YOUNG WOMAN'S DEATH
(ire msoRAPH. —press association.) NAPIER, This Day. An inquest was held to-day into tha death of Alice Mellors, aged 23, and a verdict was given that her death was due to general peritonitis. She canio ' from Hastings and died, in the Napier Hospital. ' The evidence showed tb>.{>_ she had given birth to a child, butT Us body could not be found. A young man admitted burning a mattress b»i cause it bore bloodstains.
