LONDON, 23rd August.

An ex-naval man, Mr. William Unitt, intends to sail from Plymouth on 3rd September for New Zealand in a ftine'ton, yawl-rigged boat. He will be accompanied only by his fifteen-year-old daughter Dora, who, he says, can handle the boat as well as he can. The voyage will be made via Capetown. It is expected to take four months. His wife and son are.going out by mail steamer, and the family will settle in New Zealand. Mr. Unitt retired from the Navy last year, after thirty years' service. He was a member of a landing party at the Dardanelles.
