HEAVY AUSTRALIAN WOOL CLIP.

The August report of the Australian Mercantile. Land, and Finance Company estimates the 1925-20 Australian wool crop at 2,295,750 bales. It is expected to reach the selling centres In the following proportions: Sydney, 908,000 bales; Victoria, 503,500 bales; Brisbane, 480,000 bales; South Australia, 216,000 bales; West Australia. 120,000 bales, and Tasmania, 84,250 bales. The generally favourable weather conditions of the past twelve months, says the report, should produce a clip somewhat similar to the excellent one of 1924-25. The anticipated increase in the quantity cf wool available is due to Ihe greater number of sheep to be shorn. The number of bales of wool of the 1024-25 clip yet" to b« disposed of Is 397,000.
