MORE DANCES FOR THE MEN
Arrangements 'have been made by the Entertainment Committee for additional dances this week. The Sydney Street Hall has been-engaged for each evening, and Miss Phyllis Bates has kindly placed her studio, 68, Willis street, at the disposal of the committee for Thursday evening. This evening the main Town Hall is engaged for the Savage Club's Ivororo, but" the Concert Chamber and Sydney Street ' Hall will be available for dancing, and to-morrow evening the main hall, the Concert Chamber, and the Sydney Street Hall. > On Thursday evening. the N.ayy, League's ball is to be ■held,-'and on> Saturday the hall will be engaged, hy the Wellington Competitions Society,'but the arrangements now made should ensure ample entertainment for Bhore leave men. The directors of the. jazz bands of' the Seattle and Nevada, both excellent bands, by the way, have very generously offered' to help out by supplying dance music at the various lialls, and this will.certainly be an added attraction.
