LONDON, 14th August.

Dr. Swayne, of Bristol, was found in a dying condition in a bedroom in a country house, near Sellach, in Herefordshire, where he was the guest of Richard Brown, his son-in-law. Dr. Swayne was suffering from wounds resulting from revolver shots. His son-in-law was found in bed, and has been arrested. When the doctor died Brown was charged with murder. Dr. Swayue was a well-known obstetrician, who had had a brilliant professional career, including a . professorship at Bristol University.
