OPIUM SALES
CHEMIST CHARGED WITH
FORGERY.

AUCKLAND, This Day. A chemist, Frank Anderson, alias J. T. Wallace, was charged at the Police Court that about Ist December, 1924, he forged the name of A. Gillon in the retailers' opium book. The police stated that accused was using far more opium than any other chemist in Auckland. When ho found* proceedings were pending he skipper] to Wellington, and was arrested on the boat leaving for Sydney. Accused was remanded on £200 bail.
