It is reported from Amman that during the recent operations between the French and the Druse tribesmen in Syria, the Druses captured several guns, which enabled them to take Seida, the capital of Jcbel Druse. The French retired to Ezraa, losing a number of killed and wounded. The reverse has caused consternation in Deraa.
