Both the Kent and the Port Brisbam consignments of apples arrived in good condition, but came on to the market in the midst of the strawberry season. In spite of this, however, prices have not fallen very much. ' Stunners made 16s to 18s, Scarlet Nonpareils 16s 6d to 17s 6d, Rome Beauty 16s to 17s, Delicious 15s 6d to 18s, Starkf 16s to 17s, Newton Pippins 17s to : 18s, • Statesman's 17s to 18s, Dougherty-s-IBs to 19s, and Senators, Premiers, Shepherd's Perfection, and Pioneers 10s. to 14s.
