VOYAGE OF THE SAOIRSE
BOUND THE WORLD IN A 20-TON YACHT. (rROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) LONDON, 25th June. Mj\ Conor O'Brien, who was out. in New Zealand in his 20-ton yacht'about a year ago, and has since been completing his voyage round the world, sailed .into Kingstown Harbour on Saturday afternoon, having been away for two years. A reception committee was formed at Kingstown, and the members in a special boat, accompanied by hundreds of small craft, met the Saoirse, and escorted her to Kingstown piev. When ho stepped ashore Mr. O'Brien was carried shoulder high by bis friends amid much cheering, and a" military band played "Let Erin Remember." A formal welcome was given by the Kingstown Urban Council, and later a procession of decorated motors accompanied him to Dublin, where a dinner was given in hia honour. Speaking of his achievement, Mr. O'Brien attributed bis success to the boat, which was built at Baltimore, Co., Cork, .to Ilia specifications.
