SCREENING EFFECT OVERCOME. (AUSTIIAMAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLI ASSOCIATION.) (Received 4th August, 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, 3rd August. By receiving wireless messages from Etah (Greenland) on a short wavelength by daylight, an unexpected advance has been made. Hitherto a mysterious screening effect attributed to the Aurora has prevented communication from Greenland and other Arctic points by daylight.
