RIFF VISIT TO SPANISH QUARTERS
(POILISHBD IN THI TIMS.) (Received 4th August, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 3rd August. The Tangier correspondent of "The Times" states that Abd-el-Krim's emissaries visited Tetuan, where the Spaniards entertained them with every mark of respect. They communicated Abd-el-Krim's demand for Riffian independence. The Riff leader subsequently declared to : all the tribes his determination to seek independence.
