LEAGUE FOOTBALL
m The Wellington Rugby League met last evening, Mr. T. Tuohey presiding. Others present were: —Messrs. Mudge, Simpson, Cunningham, Stephens, Withey, Buckland (secretary), J. Perkinsdn (Referees' Association), Mayo, and Aird. A letter was received from the New Zealand Council, dealing with the progress of the code in Auckland and the team in Australia. Mr. Slocombe forwarded his resignation as selector, and Mr. R. Kiild was appointed in his place.
