She sails from Gisborne on 11th August for London, via Panama. TAINUI LEAVES BALBOA. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, SaviU Company that the Tainui, en route from Southampton to Wellington, clear-, cd Balboa on Sunday evening. The vessel is due here on 24th August. THE WAIMANA. The Shaw, Savill Company adviße that the Waimana is to leave Bluff on Saturday for loading at Lyttelton, Wellington . (14th-19th August), Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne, and Auckland. She in scheduled' to sail finally from Auckland on 4th September for London, via New York and Boston, taking cargo for the three ports. THE MATATUA.. The Shaw, SaviU liner Matatua is due at Wellington ou Sunday from Lyttelton. The vessel will load cargo here for Montevideo and London, and is to sail finally from this port at daybreak on 14th- August. TCTANEKAI ON THE SLIP. The Government steamer Tutanekai went on the Patent Slip this morning for painting and. repairs. She y.il come off to-morrow morning, and will sail on Thursday or Friday for the northern lighthouses. . The Union Company's ferry steamer Mararoa went on the Patent Slip to-day for gene- * ral overhaul. PERSONAL. Mr. A. Paterson has signed off the Maori's articles and has joined the Maunganul as second engineer. Mr. H. J. Boyle has signed on the Katoa's articles as assistant purser. Mr. J. M'Jfab has joined the' Pakura as • third engineer, vice Mr. J. Walton. Mr. A..Taylor has signed oir the Pakura's articles, and is succeeded by Mr. J. Henderson' ,as second mate., Messrs. G.
