A PROGRESS REPORT. j (IT TZLIORAFH, —FItESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. The Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., reports that the Tarata well has been drilled to 2740 feet in shale and the staff are making an open hole for the B£-inch casing. The Moturoa well has been drilled to 1585 feet in shale, and boring for 10----inch casing is now proceeding. Everything is going smoothly.
