At the Supreme Court, Eobert Dixon Warden, charged with escaping from custody at Waikune Prison, and receiving stolen property, was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment. The Judge said Warden was declared an habitual criminal no less than five times. According to the law he may bo detained for the rest of his life at the discretioii of the Prisons Board. /

Elizabeth Wilson for horse-stealing, received six months' reformative detention,
