The premises of Johnston and Woolhouse, butchers, Revell street, were completely gutted by fire at 3.30 this morning. , Nothing was saved. The insurances are : Royal Exchange, buildings, £250; motor and fittings, £70.

TAUMARUNUI, This Day.

Fire completely gutted the four-room-ed residence of Mr. D. Wilson, at Manunui, at 12.30 this morning. The occupants escaped, saving nothing. The insurances are not available.
