MINISTER WELCOMED
BY KARORI PRESBYTERIANS.
The Rev. A. Btucb Todd and Mr». Todd were welcomed by ths Karori Presbyterian congregation on Thursday evening last, when there was a. ltrg« attendance of the congregation ami friends. The vacancy 'in the pastorate of this church was caused by the Rev. R. Inglis having received a call "t» Wanganui. The Rev. W. Day presided, and after addresses from the two ministers on excellent musical programme was gone through. The Karori Orchestra played several selections, which were warmly applauded. Th» following ladies and gentlemen also contributed :—Miss Page, song; .Mr. Hamilton, song; Mrs. Hooper, recitation; Misses Gamble and King, pianoforte duet; Mr. Page, song; Mr. Watchi man, humorous recitation; Mr. Ritchie, song; Mrs. "Forbes, song. Ah excellent supper was provided by the ladies of th< congregation.
