TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
The committee brganised to take charge of transport tittangemehts during Fleet Week reports a *ather disaj?pointing response, to data,- to the request for motorists who are willing to lend their cars and their services on three days in the entertainment of American officers and nurses. However, now that the committee v able to announce its set programrrt*, it is anticipated that car owners will lose no time in coming forward. "After all," gays the committee, "it is a small thing to ask—that you lend your services for a few hours, with pleasant and interesting company, in support of Wellington's hospitality." The drives -will be easy and there -will be no overcrowding of cars. Ati advertisement in this issue gives further particulars, and volunteers are asked to get in touch fight away, with the secretary of tho Fleet Transport Committee, c/o H. 3. A meeting of Catholic ladies , and gentlemen interested in the entertainment of the Catholic men of the American fleet will.be held in the old Boulcott Street School to-morrow evening at 8.15. '
