SYDNEY, This Day, About twelve thousand men engagei in the mining industry on tho northern and southern coalfields, have beei thrown out of work as the result of th( shipping hold up. It is likely, unless the trouble is soon settled, that operations on the mining areas -will be brought to a complete standstill.
