SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Mr. T. Jenkins wm host at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening when lit gave a concert in which the items proved to he rery popular with the guests. The performer* wtw: Mesdjunes North and Jenkins, Misses Owen Jenkins and Kees, and Messrs. Collins, T. ejnkins, Jotinson, Oliver, and Master Joseph. Mesdames eJnkins and North were'at tho piano. "Spots" wag the gnbjeot of Mr. James Moore's Temperance address, and again name* were added lo the society's pledge book. Th« prizes in the competitions came from Mrs. W. Maasey, of Mast«rton, and were won by men in port.
