BYLAW BREACHES

Breaches of the fcylaws -were dealt with by Mr. C. B. Orr Walker, 8.M., at the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon. For failing to observe the regulations regarding the lighting of vehicles, the following were fined: Theo Walters, Gerald Francis Gardner, Walter Neville Norwood, 10s each; Henry Hutchings, 53; and Albert William Lee, costs only 7js. Exceeding the speed limit over the interesction at Ngahauranga cost. Lawrence Sinolair £1. Similarly charged, Albert William Lee, Eobert Joseph Elliott, Agnes Duncan, were fined £1, William Kaye ,25i, Gharle* Lawrence Nellson 30s, and Frank Dickinson £2. George Mitchell and Norman Lecher were each fined £1 for exceeding the cpeed limit at Kaiwarra. Frank Croeombe and Bobert Alexander Sloan, who drove their cars in prohibited - areas, were each ordered to pay the amount of the costs, 7s. For cutting a corner, Oharies Short wag fined 15s. Wilfred Bertie Smith and Percy Wilton were each fined 10s for leaving their cars facing in the wrong direction. A fine of lOn was imposed on Thir"wall Haywood lor disposing of a motor vehicle without notifying the DeputyRegistrar. Henry B. Harding was fined 10s for using a car on which the registration had not been transferred. For allowing stock to wander, Samuel J. M'Kelvy was fined ss. Charged with failing to attend drill, Leslie William Shallard Anderson was I convicted and discharged.
