CRAYTHORNE'S HEROISM
SYDNEY, 30th June. Reginald Craythorne, the steward who lost his life, had brought a stewardess and a lady passenger asnore. At the request, of a lady passenger he returned on board to secure some of her belongings. While on this mission he was overcome \ by smoke. His body was later recovered in the music room. , , All-those on board at the time of .the outbreak are loud in praise of Craythorne's heroism, stating that he kept rer turning to the burning ship, helping others out. , ,
