BOON TO USERS OF THE RAILWAYS

In to-day's issue the Railway Department announces a new departure in the issue of 12-trip and 50-trip bearer tickets. In the past the issue of 12 7 trip tickets was confined to distances not over 25 miles, and they were available only for the purchaser, and could be used only during the week in which they were purchased. Fifty-trip; tickets have, not been issued for many years. Now, however, in addition to 12-trip, 50-trip tickets will be issued, and in both cases the tickets are obtainable between any two stations, their availability is unrestricted, and they are also transferable, thus enabling one's family and friends to travel on the one ticket. The innovation should prove a great boon to users of the railways.
