Mod-erate-sized catalogues were brought forward to-a full attendance of exporters, fellmongers, tanners, and the local trade. In sheepskins, competition for dry skins was fairly Keen, and prices were about on a par with I'nrf J" MCVS^ cially"prel>ar<:d lots 60ld WO>l and were keenly sought after. Salties were a little easier. Good competition ruled throughn ul? 05 ' a-nd prices "" round were on a par with previous quotations, with the exception of lights, which, were from par to id per 1b dearer Calf, kip, and yearling sold well up to late rates. Tallow was in fair demand, and prices for good mixed lots were on a par with late rates. The following is the range of prices— •; b .
