PARTIES HOLD LONG MEETINGS

-At the conclusion of the Reform caucus the Prime Minister made the following announcement:—
A report was received .■ from ; the four delegates appointed to meet-the Liberal' Party's delegates. After'this report had been discussed -in detail, , it was decided unanimously to ap--1 point the same delegates to again meet the Liberal Party delegates and point out to them the views expressed by the meeting. The Leader of the Liberal Party (Mr. T. M. Wilford) later stated that his party's caucus had passed the following resolution:— ' That /this caucus of the • LiberalLabour/Party, after hearing the re-, port of the delegates of the party at i the recent conference called to . dis- , cuss a preliminary basis for the forma- ! tion of a new party, authorises the ' said delegates, after receipt of - the ! views of the Reform Party, to fur- i thor confer W necessary.
